i didn't end up doing what i thought i would, but it was still a good night.

i was going to have lots of time for recording tonight, but it didn't end up that way. after i dropped dana off at work :( , i went to church so aaron could show me how to use the sound system. then i went to delicacy to meet rory for coffee. that was cool. we chated for a while, then he wanted to show me his annoyance with a website he was coding for "e-star" (easter camp) - after a while he managed to get that sorted out. i had to go and make tea. so i did. didn't have enough time to be creative with it, so i just make butter chicken. same old i know, but i needed to be at practice soon. so then we had a practice for the dry. that went pretty well. patrick picks stuff up fast, so that's nice. so does andrew. it's pretty much a matter of making it tighter rhythmically. after that, i dropped patrick off at his place, and stayed for a hot drink. we talked about the old days in suction (he was the bass player of a band i was in in the early 00's called "suction"). good times. now i'm updating my blog.

yo! and all that. apparently there's this band called the mars volters that have some songs that go for 8-9 mins per song! i think it's called pop/rock, but you don't have to be controlled by terms!!
